Transmitter is commonly used in the industrial field of instrumentation, in the process of use, instrumentation failure is a more difficult problem in our work. Then, how to quickly and accurately determine the transmitter failure is very important. Today, we first understand this method in the most simple and direct one – direct observation. This method is characterized by the need for other instruments, through the staff’s observation to find the source of the fault.
Direct observation method to determine the transmitter fault method:
First: check whether the transmitter shell and dial glass is intact, assembly fasteners are firm, whether the movable part of the rotation is flexible, adjust the part with or without obvious changes.
Second: whether the connection line is disconnected, whether the connectors are normally connected, whether the reed on the circuit board socket is insufficient elasticity, poor contact, for the use of unit assembly instrumentation, pay special attention to the unit board connection screws are tightened.
Third: each relay, contactor contacts, whether there are misplaced, stuck, oxidized, burnt and sticky phenomenon.
Fourth: whether the transistor shell paint discoloration, broken poles, whether the resistor is burnt, whether the coil is broken wire, whether the capacitor shell is swollen, liquid leakage, burst and so on.
Fifth: Observe whether the transmitter emits crackling sound, friction sound, banging sound.
Sixth: Pay attention to whether there is a special odor inside the transmitter, such as the burnt insulation layer burnt and issued by the burnt flavor and so on.
In the use of direct observation method for transmitter fault judgment is, need to pay attention to must be very careful and conscientious, do not be careless and impatient. In checking the components and wires can only be gently shaken, can not be too strong, in order to prevent broken components, wires. Power supply circuit in the large-capacity filter capacitors in the circuit with charging charge, to prevent electric shock. Do not leave the power switch when you turn on the power, if you find any abnormality, you should turn it off in time.
