At the beginning of the design of the input level transmitter, the shape is made strict examination. It is easy to measure the liquid level and install the transmitter.
One end of the input level transmitter is the probe, which is used to feel the pressure of the measured liquid, and the other end is the power supply and signal lead. The input level transmitter has a cylindrical structure with a sealed thread at one end. The anti-clogging design of the input level transmitter probe is immersed in the measured medium for a long period of time, in order to prevent impurities from clogging the pressure transfer orifice, resulting in measurement distortion. The end of the input transmitter probe is protected and the liquid is introduced through the pilot hole, the position and angle of which have been tested hundreds of times.
There are several different working conditions for field installation, which can be categorized as in a static medium and in a flowing medium. These two conditions are different for the installation of input level transmitter requirements.
Installation in static level:
When measuring the static level in the open container, the probe of the input level transmitter is directly put into the bottom of the container, and the cable (junction box) can be fixed at the opening of the container with nylon tape or three-legged adjustable mounting bracket.
Installation in flowing liquid level:
When measuring the level in the flowing liquid, due to large fluctuations in the medium, you can insert a steel pipe larger than the diameter of the probe into the liquid, and at the same time, play a number of small holes in the wall of the pipe at different heights on the opposite side of the water flow direction, so that the liquid flows into the pipe.
Another method is to add a damping device at the bottom of the liquid to filter sediment and eliminate the effects of dynamic pressure and waves on the input level transmitter installation and measurement.
Note that the installation direction of the input level transmitter should be vertical, and the installation position should be far away from the liquid inlet and outlet and agitator. In the use of occasions with large vibration, you can wind steel wire on the transmitter, using steel wire shock absorption, so as not to pull off the cable wire.
There are three points of attention before installation:
1, the material of the measured medium must be compatible with the material of the input level transmitter.
2, the measured medium can not block the input level transmitter pressure hole.
3, the measured medium may produce static pressure can not exceed the input level transmitter range.
