First: appearance detection
The temperature transmitter shell needs to be tested for paint removal, damage, cracks and impact marks and fastener defects.
Second: internal inspection
Temperature transmitter components, spare parts, connectors, etc. There are no defects, breaks, deformation, corrosion, poor sealing and so on.
Third: temperature sensing element detection
Temperature transmitter temperature-sensitive elements and leads should be kept clean, dry, intact, no rust. The protective casing is intact, no dents, scratches and significant rust and corrosion and other phenomena.
Fourth: temperature transmitter metrological detection (can be used in two ways):
With sensor detection: that is, the temperature transmitter sensing part is inserted into the standard temperature source, by changing the standard temperature input, calibrate the output current of the temperature transmitter.
Without sensor detection: Disconnecting the sensing element (RTD, thermocouple) of the temperature transmitter using a standard resistance source and process testing equipment, calibrating the signal conversion part of the temperature transmitter.
