During the use of the transmitter, it is necessary to discharge sewage regularly, mainly to deal with the deposition of differential pressure transmitter and pressure transmitter in the test pipe or pressure valve containing dust, oil scale, fine particles, etc. Failure to do so will have an inaccurate impact on the measurement results.
During the periodic blowdown step of the transmitter:
1. Before the flow or pressure regulation system discharges, it should be automatically switched to manual. Ensure that the opening of the control valve remains unchanged.
2. For differential pressure transmitters, close the positive and negative pressure valves of the three-valve group before discharging the blowdown.
3. Place the container under the blowdown valve, and slowly open the blowdown valve of the positive and negative impulse pipes to let the materials and dirt enter the container. Prevent materials from being discharged into the gutter, causing environmental pollution or waste.
4. Then open the positive and negative pressure valve of the three-valve group, loosen the sewage (exhaust) screw on the body of the differential pressure transmitter for sewage discharge, and tighten the screw after the sewage discharge is completed.
5. Finally, observe the on-site indicator instrument until the output is normal. In the case of an adjustment system, it will be switched manually to automatic.
For the general measurement medium, open the secondary valve and the transmitter can be used normally. For transmitters that measure steam pressure, the secondary valve cannot be opened until the steam condensate has filled the impulse pipe. After it is put into operation, the liquid discharge and exhaust valves on the measuring chamber of the pressure transmitter are loosened, so that the medium in the measuring room can be replaced, and the liquid discharge and exhaust can be achieved.
