However, some on-site level transmitters will still encounter internal water ingress, which directly causes the product to be damaged and cannot be used normally, how is this situation caused? In most cases, the ingress of water inside the level transmitter is related to the way the cables are connected. Improper handling of cable connection points or incorrect connection methods are the direct cause of water ingress into the level transmitter. The use of waterproof junction box can avoid more than 95% of the damage to the transmitter due to moisture or water entering the product cavity from the air guide hole or shield. It is recommended that when the level transmitter cable is not directly connected to the distribution box or needs to be wired by itself, choose a waterproof wire box for cable connection. The waterproof junction box has a good waterproof and breathable effect. If it is outdoor or there is a lightning phenomenon, you can also choose a waterproof and lightning protection waterproof junction box. If the user’s on-site cost is limited or needs to be wired by themselves, it is recommended that the user use the N-shaped wiring method when connecting with external cables. This wiring method can reduce the intrusion of water, but it is necessary to pay attention to the ventilation and dryness of the terminal end, and the ventilation pipe needs to be extended to conduct with the outside atmosphere.
