Second, it is to determine the installation location: from the aspects of convenient daily operation and maintenance, prolonging service life, and ensuring reliability, the installation position of the pressure transmitter needs to do the following:
1. There should be enough working space around the installation of the pressure transmitter, and the distance (in any direction) from adjacent objects should be greater than 0.5m.
2. There is no serious corrosive gas around the pressure transmitter installation.
3. The pressure transmitter is not directly irradiated by the surrounding heat radiation and sunlight.
4. To prevent interference from the output due to the vibration of the pressure transmitter and the impulse pipe (capillary), the pressure transmitter should be installed in a vibration-free place.
Third, when measuring different media, the specific requirements for pressure transmitters are also different.
When measuring gas pressure, the pressure point of the pressure measurement pipeline must be selected in the upper part of the pipeline to prevent the accumulation of liquid in the pressure measurement pipeline.
When measuring liquid pressure, a flushometer is installed on the front of the pressure transmitter to prevent liquid or dirt from entering the transmitter.
When measuring vapor pressure, the pressure transmitter pressure point must be installed in an area within 45° of the upper turn from the horizontal line to the vertical line to ensure the accuracy of the pressure transmitter measurement.
