Pressure transmitters have many related technical parameters, each of which is essential, and understanding the meaning of each characteristic parameter is necessary for us to select and use the transmitter.
Pressure range: refers to the range of the value to be measured within the allowable error limit is called the measurement range. It should be noted that the range of each pressure transmitter is set individually according to the customer’s needs at the time of production, and the user cannot modify the pressure range.
Accuracy class: refers to the degree to which the results measured by the pressure transmitter are consistent with the actual values. Commonly used accuracy grades are 0.1%FS, 0.25%FS, 0.5%FS, 1%FS. A lower number indicates a higher accuracy of the pressure transmitter.
Zero drift: The zero drift of the pressure transmitter refers to the change in the zero output value at specified time intervals and standard conditions. Zero drift due to changes in ambient temperature is called temperature drift.
Overload capacity: Usually refers to the maximum value measured that can be applied to a pressure transmitter without causing a permanent change in performance. Generally, the overload capacity of a pressure transmitter is 200% full-scale or 120Mpa, whichever is the smallest of these two values.
Stability: The ability of the pressure transmitter to be stored, tested or used under specified conditions and still maintain the original characteristic parameters after a specified period of time. The stability of a general pressure transmitter is ±0.1%FS/year, which means that the error range of the pressure transmitter per year is ±0.001 of its full scale
