On-site pressure transmitter grounding: It is to connect the metal shell of the pressure transmitter, the conductor and the earth, so that the metal shell and metal parts of the pressure transmitter are kept equipotential with the earth, so that when the equipment fails, the leakage current of the metal shell and metal parts of the pressure transmitter is reliably introduced to the ground, so that other electrical devices installed on the equipment will not be damaged and personal injury or death can be avoided. The function of grounding when the metal shell of the pressure transmitter is used: one is to release static electricity, and the other is to filter the interference of the power supply of the instrument.
Shielded wire grounding: In order to prevent the direct coupling between the electromagnetic field and the electrical circuit due to external interference of the pressure transmitter, the shielded grounding is used to reduce the crosstalk effect between the circuits. In other words, the anti-interference ability of the pressure transmitter is effectively improved.
Pressure transmitter shell grounding and shield wire grounding can effectively reduce the occurrence of on-site use failures. When the pressure measured by the pressure transmitter is constant, the output of the pressure transmitter shows irregular jumps, which is related to whether it is effectively grounded. To produce this phenomenon, we need to check whether the metal shell of the pressure transmitter is grounded, whether the shielded cable is used, and whether the shielded cable is effectively grounded.
