Temperature and humidity sensors have been widely used in all aspects of our production and life, and temperature and humidity sensors can well monitor the temperature and humidity in the environment. It has important applications in textile production, medical pharmaceuticals, printing plants, food production and storage, environmental testing, cultural relics protection, etc. What should we do if we encounter a phenomenon that cannot be used normally when using the temperature and humidity sensor?
In the process of using the temperature and humidity sensor, due to misoperation or special circumstances on the site, the temperature and humidity sensor can not be used normally, and some common faults are mainly due to the fact that the temperature and humidity sensor has no signal output or the output data of the temperature and humidity sensor has errors.
The temperature and humidity sensor has no signal output
When used on site, the control instrument, PLC, industrial computer, control board, etc. do not receive the relevant signals of the temperature and humidity sensor. When such a phenomenon occurs, the following aspects should be examined. First of all, you need to check whether the temperature and humidity sensor is powered or not. If there is still no signal after power supply, check whether the wiring of the temperature and humidity sensor is correct. The four wires can be removed and the voltage/current output of the temperature signal and humidity signal can be measured separately with a multimeter. Refer to the wiring diagram in the temperature and humidity sensor manual to wire the temperature and humidity sensor correctly.
There is an error in the output data of the temperature and humidity sensor
There are two main manifestations of this fault: first, the temperature and humidity sensor signal beats irregularly; Second, the output of the temperature and humidity sensor does not match the measurement. This kind of fault should first confirm whether the temperature and humidity sensor signal transmission cable is properly selected, and when transmitting over long distances, it is necessary to select a multi-core cable with a shielding effect, and connect the shield to the ground. Secondly, the incorrect use of the power supply voltage of the temperature and humidity sensor will also lead to errors in the output data. The power supply voltage used by the temperature and humidity sensor should be 9~36VDC.
