The flange connection hole of the double flange differential pressure transmitter is 1/4-18NPT (cone pipe thread); The flange joint is 1/2-14NPT. Unscrew the screws of the flange joint, and the double flange differential pressure transmitter is easily removed from the process pipe. The center distance between the two flanged connection holes is 54mm (2/8″) and the connecting pipe can be mounted directly on the flange. Rotating the flange joint can change the distance between the center holes to 51, 54 or 57mm (2″, 2/8″ or 2/4″) sizes.

The body of the double-flange differential pressure transmitter can rotate in the flange, as long as the flange junction is kept vertical, rotating the transmitter body will not cause a change in the zero point. If the flange is installed horizontally (e.g. to measure flow in a vertical pipe), the influence of the hydraulic head due to the different height of the connecting pipe must be eliminated and the zero point must be adjusted again.

The correct installation of the double-flange differential pressure transmitter relative to the process piping depends on the medium being measured, and the following situations should be considered to determine its suitable installation position.

1. Corrosive or overheated medium should not contact with the double flange differential pressure transmitter. 2. Prevent slag from precipitating in the impulse tube of the double flange differential pressure transmitter. 3. The hydraulic heads in the two impulse pipes should be balanced. 4. The impulse tube should be as short as possible. 5. The impulse tube should be installed in a place with small temperature fluctuation and temperature gradient.
